Lazy

“I want to move more but I don’t because I’m lazy.”

Incorrect.

You aren’t lazy.

“Lazy” is an invisibility cloak you are wearing because you aren’t ready to see what’s underneath:

The real reasons you are avoiding moving your body. (Or why you aren't prioritizing time to connect with and move your body.)

And, probably, you are not ready for anyone else to see what’s underneath.

And that is ooookay.

You wear that cloak for as long as you need to. I’m serious.

I trust that you put it on wisely, to protect yourself. Because some part of you knew it wasn’t safe to go poking around in What’s Underneath.

I trust you to take off the cloak, or at least peel open a flap of it, when you feel safe enough and resourced enough to grapple with what’s actually lurking under there.

The cloak of lazy will start to feel brittle and itchy when it’s ready to fall away.

If you are feeling that brittle itchiness, and you’d like some support creating a greater sense of safety and some ways to deeply resource yourself, let’s chat.

Looking under the cloak, getting clear on what is truly in the way -- this is all stuff you can do on your own.

Having my support will simply make it easier. And a lot more fun.

Because you’re right, the stuff underneath IS scary — that’s why Past You put on that cloak.

But I am here and ready to hold you steadily in a warm ray of compassionate sunlight, with a sprinkle comedic irreverence, as we walk into the shadows together.
